The Play Area features furnished dollhouses and a horse stable and paddock building. Adults can sit with their children or browse nearby in the museum store.
The Play Area is also stocked with a wide range of history books for children. Parents may want to read aloud from our selection of children's books.

The Classroom |

A dress-up party with a cat theme! Birthday parties include time in the dollhouse village and playroom, followed by cake and favors in the classroom. |

The classroom is a large, multipurpose space furnished with durable tables and chairs. Among the activities conceived for the Classroom:
- Hands-on workshops in a variety of areas of miniaturism, such as dollmaking, decorating, making food out of fimo clay, rugmaking, etc.
- Historically based movies
- Visiting Storytellers and Lecturers
- Birthday Parties
- School groups, for use as gathering place, classroom and lunchroom.
